Why use a child theme for your Divi projects?
Safeguard Your Core Divi Theme
By making your changes in the child theme, you ensure that your main Divi theme remains untouched. This is crucial when Divi releases updates, preventing your hard work from being overwritten.
Organize Your Custom Code
A child theme gives you a dedicated area to manage your custom code. This keeps your website files organized and makes it easier to find and edit your specific modifications down the line.
Website Stability and Security
A child theme offers peace of mind. If the parent theme turns out to have significant bugs in an update, those won’t directly affect your child theme, potentially preventing disruptions to your site.
